Experimenting with the Halloween sale

Hey there! I'm glad you're here.

As you may know from my profile, our aim is to make fun games, stay close to the community and build our own little studio.

Blood Countess, although far from finished, gave us confidence that we can build decent little games with Godot, process feedback and release updates fast enough reliably. We've released a major update this week, we have more updates ready to go and we're gonna update it weekly based on your feedback. We're also doing an AMA and gameplay live on Twitch and releasing a new gameplay on Youtube for every new update.

We're sure that we'll make Blood Countess the game we want it to be in the coming updates, and also that we can make new games in the future in fast release cycles.

But making games is just one of the many things you need to run even a small studio; we need to gain experience on how to market them. So we looked at the Halloween Sale and thought it may be a good opportunity to learn a bit, since our game fits the theme like a glove.

We're not really promoting the game anywhere yet because it's way too early for that, but we've released it as early access so we could learn how all that works on Itch, and who knows, maybe get some supporters. Trying won't hurt.

Because of that, we've made a separate page for the sale. But nothing changes, this page is gonna stay the same as to not interfere with the jams we're taking part, since you're not supposed to be updating your game files until voting ends, and the game needs to stay free to test.

Please send all your questions and feedback, and if you like our work, please consider supporting us by buying it! Your name is gonna be on the Beta credits, you're gonna receive an exclusive badge and redeemable content when the Beta comes out and you're automatically included as a Beta tester.

We're also gonna set up a studio profile for the stores, social media and Patreon in the future, but for now we're gonna keep going as it is for a little while.
